Michelle es abogada, propietaria de un negocio y entusiasta de las actividades al aire libre que hace las cosas de manera diferente. Su camino hacia la práctica de la ley de inmigración comenzó después de experimentar de primera mano el proceso de inmigración para llevar a su esposo colombiano a Canadá. Es un área del derecho donde puede conectarse con sus clientes a nivel personal y encontrar soluciones creativas a los problemas de inmigración.

Apasionada por el estilo de vida montañés de un pueblo pequeño, Michelle eligió establecer una práctica de inmigración en Revelstoke, BC. Desde su base en Revelstoke, Michelle utiliza tecnología para atender a clientes en todo el interior de BC y en todo el mundo que buscan mudarse a Canadá.

Ivania is a Colombian Canadian lawyer, qualified to practice law in Colombia. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in law from Universidad del Rosario in Bogota.

With over three years of professional experience, Ivania began her career in the Colombian private sector, specializing in civil, commercial, and contractual law. Her interest in immigration law was sparked during an internship at the Colombian General Consulate in Toronto, where she assisted foreign nationals with their Colombian visas.

Ivania gained further experience in Canadian immigration law while working with a prestigious law firm in Toronto, where she was involved in the economic immigration group, focusing on study permits, work permits, and permanent residence in Canada. Additionally, for the past few years, she has maintained a private practice in Colombian immigration law, aiding foreign nationals and digital nomads with visitor and permanent residence visas to Colombia.

In addition to her native Spanish, Ivania is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of French. Outside of her legal career, she is an avid football fan, enjoys attending live games of her favorite team, reading all types of literature and salsa dancing.
